Our Task Consists of Only Executing' - The Way The Sudanese Ruthless Militia Perpetrated a Massacre

Fighters laugh as they ride on the back of a pick-up truck, speeding by a line of multiple dead bodies and driving in the direction of the descending Sudan's sunset.

"Observe this extensive effort. Observe this ethnic cleansing," one exclaims.

The fighter beams as he directs the recording device on himself and his associate militiamen, their paramilitary insignia visible: "The victims are all going to be killed in this manner."

These individuals are celebrating a mass killing that relief organizations fear killed more than two thousand people in the African city of el-Fasher last month.

A Community Isolated from the Globe

After maintaining the community under encirclement for approximately an extended period, from late summer the paramilitary force moved to reinforce its dominance and prevent access for the remaining civilian population.

Orbital photography demonstrate that fighters commenced to erect a immense sand wall - a built-up earthen wall - encircling the edges of the city, closing access routes and halting humanitarian assistance.

During the encirclement escalated, multiple civilians were killed in an RSF assault on a mosque on September 19th, while the UN stated fifty-three further were killed in aerial and heavy weapon strikes on a refugee settlement in fall.

Explicit Footage Depicts Unarmed People Shot

At dawn on October 26th the paramilitary force overwhelmed the last government defenses and seized the central compound in the urban area, the command center of the Military Unit, as the government forces pulled back.

One of the most disturbing footage to emerge and examined revealed the aftermath of a mass killing at a university building on the west of the community, where scores dead bodies were observed scattered across the ground.

An older person dressed in a traditional garment was seated isolated surrounded by the victims. The man rotated to gaze as a combatant carrying with a firearm walked along the stairs in the direction of the victim. Raising his weapon, the gunman fired a one shot at the man, who fell to the surface motionless.

"For what reason is this one yet living," another combatant exclaimed. "Execute him."

Orbital photography captured on late October seemed to substantiate that shootings were also carried out on the roads of el-Fasher, based on a report issued by the university analysis team.

A key observer who spoke stated he had witnessed "numerous of our kin being massacred - these individuals were collected in one place and everyone eliminated."

RSF Leaders Attempt to Carry Out Reputation Management

In the days that followed the massacre, militia chief conceded that his forces had perpetrated "violations" and announced the occurrences would be looked into.

Part of the detained was following a investigation recording his murders. Meticulously choreographed and modified recording posted on the militia's formal Telegram account depict him being led into a prison room at a prison on the edges of al-Fashir.

Meanwhile, the militia and affiliated social media accounts began seeking to reshape the narrative.

Posts presenting its militiamen handing out aid to inhabitants were shared by several accounts, while the militia's media office released several clips allegedly to display the compassionate management of military prisoners of war.

Regardless of the digital effort being used by the paramilitary, their actions in the city have sparked international condemnation.
