Tehran is ready to reinitiate atomic negotiations with the United States provided that it is treated with "respect" and "honor", Tehran's top diplomat has stated.

The Iranian diplomat stated exclusively dialogue produced results, and shared fresh requests had originated from mediators to reopen negotiations with the US government. He said Iran did not have secret atomic facilities, and Iran was not yet able to allow the global atomic watchdog to inspect bombed nuclear sites for safety concerns.

Navigating a Difficult Route

The foreign minister is navigating a difficult path since Iran wishes not to be seen to be acting from a stance of weakness, and he emphatically stated that Iran had come out more powerful in military terms and mentally from the joint assault on its nuclear sites in June.

He was speaking at a strategic meeting in Tehran where he reaffirmed that Iran had "an inalienable right to enrich uranium on home soil that it will never give up" – the primary cause of the deadlock in the prior discussions.

Previous Discussions Unexpectedly Ended
